Hallie A. Franklin Farley, 87, of Twin Oaks Circle, Princeton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at her home.
Born September 9, 1925 in Shady Spring, she was the daughter of the late Robert Pete and Maude Reed Bryant. She was a Graduate of Shady Spring High School and the Huntington Beauty School. She spent many years as a hairdresser and was an accomplished seamstress and she enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the Cornerstone Family Church in Princeton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carline C. Franklin and her second husband, Dewey Boone Farley, and Five Siblings, Avenel Fink, Anis Skaggs, Theris Ball, Brownie Bryant and Reedie Bryant.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two children, Kathy Coleen Bailey and her husband Terry of Elgood and Benjamin Reed Franklin of Dickenson, Texas. Six Grandchildren, Rhonda, Carrie, Cole, Fallon, Beth and Ashton. Eight Great Grandchildren. Two Sisters, Brylis Jessup of Texas City, Texas and Niddy Aorear of Rockport, Texas. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Scott Catron officiating. Burial will follow in the Skaggs Cemetery in Shady Spring. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
