Mark Robin Blankenship, 54, of Princeton died Thursday, September 26, 2013 surrounded by his family at his home. Born May 12, 1959 in Welch, he was the son of the late C.W. (Bob) Blankenship and Loretta Waugh Blankenship.
Mark was a general contractor. Mark loved the Lord, he loved life and everyone around him.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Thomas Blankenship; two children, Amy Beth Phillips of North Carolina and Bobby Ray Blankenship and wife Jennifer of North Carolina; two stepchildren, Rebecca Yurchick and husband Chris of Fairmont and Ricky Meadows and wife Allison of Princeton; five grandchildren, Marky, Braxton, Levi, London, and Jonah; three brothers, Robert Blankenship of Coal City, Michael Blankenship of Lakeland, Florida and Joey Blankenship and wife Johnnie of Princeton; one sister, Lisa Blankenship of Jefferson City, Tennessee and a very special uncle, who was like a father to him, Green Blankenship of Rocky Gap, Virginia.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2013 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton. Interment will follow at Thomas Cemetery at Matoaka. Pallbearers will be Jon Blankenship, Timmy Williams, Greg Dean, Larry Tiller, Chris Yurchick and Micah Brewer.
Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, September 28 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
