BLUEFIELD — Mrs. Kella P. Coleman 102 of Bluefield, WV went to be with the Lord on the morning of Monday, September 23, 2013.

Born on September 09, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Bailey B. Perdue and Kellie Carter Perdue. She worked as the Business Office Manager for Cox's Department Store in Bluefield, WV for over 40 years, and then went on to work in the Billing Department at  Mercer County Health Center in Green Valley, WV. She was a member of the Brushfork Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alvis B. Coleman, her sister Gertrude C. Perdue and her brothers Alfred Perdue and Clinton Perdue.

Left to cherish her memories is her: Son: Michael A. Coleman of Bluefield, WV. Daughter: Ginger Coleman Summers of Bluefield, WV. Three Grandchildren: Kim Summers of Clemmons, NC, Kevin Summers of Bluefield, WV, Kelly Summers and wife Julia of Winston-Salem, NC. Four Great Grandchildren: Kaylon Summers of Clemmons, NC, Aryn Fain and husband Robert of Princeton, WV, Haley Summers of Bluefield, WV, Matthew Summers of Winston-Salem, NC. And many Nieces and Nephews

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Rev. Larry Dyer officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning,  September 28, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m.
