WINCHESTER, Va.. —
Mabel McClure, 100, of Winchester, Va., died Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Winchester Medical Center. Born December 30, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Hannibal O. Riffe and Viola Kennedy Riffe.
She was a long time resident of Helen, West Virginia and a member of Helen Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife who loved her home, family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Gardner; her second husband, Thomas McClure; one son, Jake Gardner; one daughter, Dixie Gardner LaCoss; two brothers, Elmer Riffe and Eddie Riffe; and one sister, Maxine Riffe Morgan.
She is survived by one daughter, Patricia McClure-Moore and husband Paul and four grandchildren, James Gardner, Thomas Gardner, Donna Gardner Moffett and Paula Moore and their families.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. today (Monday), October 29, 2012 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Jim Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may visit at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour today (Monday), October 29.
