Ruth M. Hutson, 74, of Bud, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 in a Roanoke, Va. hospital. Born Jan. 31, 1938 at Lamar she was the daughter of the late Willie A. McKnight and Bertha McGuire McKnight.
She was of the Church of God faith. She was a homemaker and former employee of Campbell's Soup in Maryland. She loved gardening and children. Ruth was a loving sister and friend to all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Medford Hutson; one son, Kenneth Ray Eanes; five brothers, Lawrence McKnight, Raymond McKnight, Dean McKnight, Billy McKnight and James McKnight; and four sisters, Lucille McReynolds, Aretta Ramsey, June Hale and Betty McKnight.
Survivors include two brothers, Donald McKnight of Greenwood, Ind. and William “Sonny” McKnight and Paula of Williams, Ind.; two sisters, Beverly Carole Mills and Nelson of Basin and Jane Graham and Mason, of Beartown; several stepchildren; many nieces and nephews and special friend, Jeannie Warren of Greensboro, Md.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Marvin Mills officiating. Additional services will be conducted at the Fleegle-Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro, Md. with interment to follow on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 in the Greensboro Cemetery.
