BALLARD, W.Va. — Patty Lou Gore Vaillancourt Dillion age 64 of Ballard, W.Va.,  was granted her angel wings Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family, following complications from a 27 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.  

Born August 16, 1948 at Princeton, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Rev. Silas O. and Clarice Lorene Young Gore.  

Patty was the Salutatorian of the 1966 graduation class of Greenville High School.  She was a member of the Peterstown Order of the Eastern Star No. 118, proud supporter of the Multiple Sclerosis Support Group for 26 years and was a 32 year member of the Orchard Christian Center Church in Ballard.  She had worked for the First National Bank of Peterstown, Secretary for the FBI in Washington, D.C. and McKenzie Lumber.  

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Vaillancourt.  

Survivors include her loving husband of 31 years, Oliver A. Dillion; five children, Mark Vaillancourt and wife Jennifer of Elgood, W.Va., Tammy Vaillancourt Page and husband Danny of Ballard, W.Va., Trina Dillion Wilson and fiancé Dennis Whitlow of Peterstown, W.Va., Jeff Dillion and wife Jenny, of Ballard, W.Va., and Lisa Dillion Perdue of Narrows, Va., fourteen grandchildren, Jonna Shrewsberry,  Omer Vaillancourt, Tabitha Page, Alexis Vaillancourt, Harley Wilson, Chase Perdue, Taylor Page, Cassidy Whitlow, Brooke and Daniel Vaillancourt, Brady Dillion, Olivia Wilson, Dylan Page and Cade Dillion, two great-grandchildren, Jadda and Arianna Shrewsberry; two brothers, Benny Gore and wife Mary, of Cashmere, W.Va., and Timmy Gore and companion Karen of Ballard, W.Va.; one sister, Betty Sue Gore Garland of Greenville, W.Va., several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and her loving and devoted caregivers, Cindy Raines and Kayla Ann Fritz.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Bradley, the Rev. John Offenberger and Evangelist Tim Spencer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Orchard Cemetery, Ballard, W,Va.  Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 at the funeral home.
