BRIGHTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Mary Darlene Singer, 69, of Brighton Township passed away, Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Friendship Ridge Nursing Home.

Born May 18, 1943, in Princeton, W.Va., she worked at the Dairy Queen in Princeton until her graduation from Princeton High School in June 1961. She moved to Brighton Township in June 1977. Mary had many friends and helped the elderly and under-privileged with their lives. An Avon Representative for many years, her passion was cooking, which her husband and friends thought she was the best.

Mary is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ed Singer, a son, Van Singer, and his wife Janet, Yardley, Pa., a daughter, Rebecca Singer, Monaca, a sister, Shirley Tabor, Princeton, W.Va., a brother-in-law, Dave Singer, New Jersey, two grandchildren, Joey and Julia Singer, Yardley, Pa., two nieces, Carla Donley and Rhonda Woolwine, both of Princeton, W.Va., a nephew, Bryan Singer, California, and special family friend, Liz Tudor and her son, Tyler Makray.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, Pa. Private interment will be at Beaver Cemetery.
