Judy Carol Jones Sanders, 62, of Harmon School Road, Princeton, died peacefully Monday evening, April 29, 2013 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Born September 10, 1950, in Bluefield, she was the daughter of Bessie Helen Woolridge Jones of Princeton and the late James Sherwood Jones.
Judy graduated from Princeton High School and received her Bachelor's degree from Bluefield State College. Judy earned her L.P.N. certificate and had worked at Princeton Health Care Facility for several years. Judy was currently employed by Concord University as a Tutor Coordinator. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church near Princeton.
Judy was devoted to her family and loved her grandchild.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Lisa Marie Sanders Karnes and husband Bill, and Amy Marie Sanders Prichard. The one who held the key to her heart, her grandson, Dylan Sanders; her mother, Helen Jones; brother, Allen Jones and wife Dona all of Princeton.
A service to celebrate the life of Judy Sanders will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2013 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Richard Hodges officiating.
The family has honored Judy's request, her body has been cremated.
Friends may visit with the family Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour.
