Patricia Sue Gilbert Faulkner

NIPOMO, Calif. — Born February 3, 1939 in War (Centerville), WV she was the daughter of the late George R. Gilbert and Mary Frances Gilbert.

Patricia was a 1958 graduate of Big Creek High School in War and a former secretary at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. She was a member of the Nipomo Community Presbyterian Church in Nipomo, CA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Faulkner; three sisters, Kaye Gilbert Lemons, Gail Gilbert, and Tammy Gilbert; and one brother, Ronald Gilbert.

Survivors include one daughter, Gail Denise Faulkner Ross and husband Scott of North Hollywood, CA; one son, John K. Faulkner and wife Dondee of Gilbert, AZ; two grandchildren, Austin Ross and Zachary Ross both of North Hollywood, CA; three sisters, Kathy Gilbert McGuire and husband Rick of Spring Hill, TN, Diane Gilbert Martin of Radford, VA, and Connie Gilbert Cook and husband Danny of Lakewood, IN; and five brothers, Harvey Gilbert and wife Jo-An of Tazewell, VA, Jerry Gilbert and wife Roberta of Narrows, VA, George A. Gilbert and wife Leslie of Princeton, Johnny Gilbert and Dennis Gilbert. She is also survived and was loved by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 26, 2013 (today) at the Nipomo Community Presbyterian Church in Nipomo, CA. In keeping with Patricia's wishes, her body will be cremated following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to honor Patricia Sue Gilbert Faulkner may be made to the American Heart Association, WV Region, 162 Court St., Charleston, WV 25301.
