LaTina (LT) Theressa Brooks, 31, of 900 Raleigh Terrace Bluefield, W.Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 7, 2012.
At her passing LaTina gave her life fully to the Lord and was a devoted member of Laurel Creek Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James C. Green. She was a child of God and on loan to her earthly parents, Monica (Denise) Robinson and Ben Brooks Jr. LaTina did her best to be a good mother and devoted wife.
She is preceded in death by her two brothers: Michael J. Robinson, and Jaredd O. Brooks; one sister, Virginia (Renee) Robinson; brother-in-law, Larry Floyd; paternal grandparents, Ben and Rosa Brooks; maternal grandfather, William Sylvester Robinson Sr.; uncles, Donnell Brooks, James Richard Brooks, and Oscar C. Robinson; and aunt, Carol Ann Robinson.
In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are: Her three kings, Jadakas Z.D. Brooks, Nahavyias O. Brooks, Zaivyahn M. Brooks; grandmother, Virginia “Snookie” Robinson; her fiancé, William Sims; mother-in-law, Ms. Penny Sims; her sisters, Shauna (John) Phinazee, Angela Potter, Rhonshea Howze, Gina Eaves; special sister-in-law, Johnette Hearn; brothers, Frederick J. Potter, Anthony Potter, Frederick D. Brooks, Benjamin Allen and special brother, Chris Thompson all of Bluefield, W.Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved L.T. dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Laurel Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend James C. Green officiating. Viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
