Zila French Easter, 75, of Elgood, died late Sunday evening, July 21, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital.
She was born September 24, 1937, in Hinton, the daughter of the late Hugh French and Gertrude Victoria Griffith French.
Zila was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings: Betty, Jackie, Jenny, Ruby and Fred.
She is survived by her loving, caring and devoted husband of 56 years, Charlie Wayne Easter along with four children, Stanley and Joyce Easter; Randy Easter; Chucky and Melissa Easter, and Missy Dick. Grandchildren, Tara and husband Tracy Bradshaw; Sydney and husband Ken Starnes; Heather and husband Mike Thorpe; Travis Easter; Wendy Terry; Anthony Easter; Charlie Easter, and Dakota Dick. Seven great-grandchildren. One brother, Junior and Dorey French and two sisters, Jean Cook, Edith and Bobby Mitchem. A host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Jim Stanley and Pastor James Coburn officiating. Burial will follow in Athens Cemetery in Athens.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tony and Charley Easter, Mark Dick, Tracy Bradshaw, Keith Bowling and Kevin Cook.
