Helen Aileen Hilling, 83, of 208 Park Avenue in Princeton died Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the residence of her son in Princeton. Born July 5, 1930 in New Brighton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph D. Huffman and Nora Black Huffman.
Helen was retired from Rockwell International in Princeton and also retired from the Princeton Library. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Princeton and was a devout Christian who dearly loved her family. Helen taught adult Sunday School Class for several years and enjoyed being outside gardening. She had been a resident of Princeton since 1963 moving here from Harper, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Kenneth Wade “Ken” Hilling; one sister, Janet Garmen; and two brothers, Howard A. Huffman and Harold Huffman.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol Sue Lindamood and husband Rev. Rick Lindamood of Wytheville, VA; two sons, Howard Wade “Arch” Hilling and wife Lisa and Kenneth James “Jim” Hilling and wife Paula all of Princeton; six grandchildren, Tracy Farmer Whitt and husband Matthew and their children, Jacqueline, Triston, and Catharine, Kelly Watts and husband Adam and their children, Brandon and Lily, Joshua Richard Lindamood and fiancé Jen Blake, Heath Hilling, Jermy Hilling and wife Shannon and their children, Eli and Grayson, and Jason Hilling and wife Tonya; special friends, Gale and Anna Lee Bolton; and caregivers, Sandy Cox and Hospice Amedisys.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Ken Clay and Pastor Carl Sellards officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, November 15, 2013 (today).
