Doris (Dot) Wright Fritz

ROCK — Doris (Dot) Wright Fritz, age 85, of Route 2, Rock, WV, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the GlenWood Park Retirement Center in Princeton.

Born on January 7, 1928, in Sandlick, she was a daughter of the late German and Mae Lewis Bailey. She had been a resident of Rock for 7 years and was a retired deli manager in Vermilion Township, OH. She was a member of the Maple View Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lowery Wright in 1989; her second husband, Skip Fritz in 1997; a grandson, Michael Wright in 2009; four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include: Daughter: Alice Thomas of Rock, Debbie Dunford and husband Buster of North Tazewell,VA; 2 sons: Stanley Wright and wife Shirley of Advance, NC, Wayne Wright and wife Dianne of Oberlin, OH; Grandchildren: Shelle Thompson, Kenneth Dunford, Aaron Wright, and Jeffrey Wright; Great Grandchildren: Johnathan Thompson, Erik Wright, Aliyah Wright, Christopher Wright, and Gabriel Wright; Brother: Jack Bailey and wife Rita of Bluefield, WV; Sister: Kathleen Hook of Chandler, AZ

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 7:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister Tony Reed officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Vermilion Township, OH.

Friends may call prior to the services, from 5:30-7:30 PM at the funeral home.
