Linda Lou Sutherland Jenkins, gained her heavenly wings on April 25, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital.
In her 69 years of life she touched many lives. She enjoyed gardening, reading books and cooking family dinners. She spent the last six years fighting a battle with kidney failure.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth White Butler and Henry “Bud” Sutherland and brothers, James “Bo” Butler, Larry Ragan and Patrick Sutherland, and a son, Keith Coburn.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Victor Sutherland and wife Vickie of Spanishburg, Tony McManaway and wife Tonya of Marion, Ark., Tina O'Quinn “Mousy” and her fiancé Ron Kinser of Pettry, Jenny McKenzie and husband Glenn of Pettry, Patty Horne and husband Jerry of Pettry, and Belinda Evans of Belington; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. At the time of her death, Linda Lou was helping to raise two of her grandchildren, Brian Evans and Nathanial Hambrick. Siblings: Reba Crawford and husband Dana of Cool Ridge, Christa Huth and fiancé John Luciano of Princeton, Sally Marlone and companion Billy Hazelwood of Athens; and her extended family at the Dialysis Center at Princeton Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor James Coburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery at Hilltop.
Friends may visit with the family Monday morning 10:00 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
