JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. —
Anita S. Duncan, 71, entered into rest, Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Duncan was a native of Bluefield, and had lived in Johnson City for the past several years.
She was a daughter of the late Leonard A. and Thelma Gilmore Cochran and was also preceded in death by one sister, Patty Asbury.
Mrs. Duncan was a member of King Springs Christian Church.
She retired from the cleaning business where she was self-employed.
Mrs. Duncan enjoyed country music, traveling, vacations and cooking and loved spending time with her family.
She leaves one son, Joey Cochran and his wife Stacy, Chuckey, Tenn.; one brother, Leonard A. Cochran Jr. and his wife Carol, Homosassa, Fla.; one sister, Barbara Hale, Bluewell; one grandson, Taylor Cochran, Chuckey, Tenn.; special friend, Betty Hayes; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City, Tenn. Pastor Jeff Connell will officiate.
