Kenneth Lee Wallace

PRINCETON — Kenneth Lee Wallace, 62, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital after a short, intense illness.

Born Dec. 22, 1950 in Jewell Valley, Va., he was the son of Rosie Lucille Wallace Fournier of Princeton and the late Roy Lee Wallace.

He was a US Army veteran having served in Vietnam and he was the owner and proprietor of Wallace Security in Princeton.

In addition to his father, he was preceded by two sisters, Deborah Curtis and Brenda Wallace.

He touched many lives in the community and the hearts of his family. He will be profoundly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Wallace; step-son, David White and step-grandchildren Raiden and Bella; son, Kenneth Wallace Jr. and wife Nicole and their children, Morgan, Reagan, Kayden and Devan, all of Canada; daughter, Corina McCollum and husband Patrick and their children Katelyn, Connor and Logan, all of Canada; mother, Rose Fournier of Princeton; brother, Michael Wallace and wife Arletta of Falling Waters; sisters, Wanda Lineberry and husband Walter, June Zitaman, Darlene Pendleton and husband Les, all of Florida; Maxine Wallace of Snowshoe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Brad Puckett officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by the West Virginia National Guard Honor Guard and the Mercer County Veterans Council.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
