James Howard “Jim” Bowersock

PRINCETON — Born February 2, 1938 in Parkersburg, WV he was the son of the late Otto Varner Bowersock and Geneva Stephens Bowersock.

Jim was a former owner-operator of Bluefield Housing and was a retired salesman last working at Harry’s Mobile Home Sales. He was a member of Princeton Moose Lodge #1521.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard “Dick” Bowersock; and one stepson, Preston Lee Robertson.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Price Bowersock of Princeton; three sons, Jimmy Bowersock and wife Ann of Spartanburg, SC, Joseph Bowersock and Scott Bowersock both of Rockingham, NC; two daughters, Tammy Reynolds and husband Rick of Southern Pines, NC and Teresa Ammons and husband Andy of Sanford, NC; two step-sons, Joe Robertson and wife Vickie and Mike Robertson and companion Terry Poff all of Princeton; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bonnie Bowersock of Huntsville, AL.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 2, 2014 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Friday.
