Steven T. “Teddy” McReynolds, 58, of Brickyard Road in Princeton, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born September 5, 1955, in Richlands, VA, he was the son of the late Ted and Uva Stevenson McReynolds.
He worked on the paving crew of Virginian Asphalt & Paving Co. in Princeton. Teddy was a graduate of Big Creek High School and had been a resident of Princeton for the past 6 years moving here from Charlotte, NC.
Survivors include one daughter, Uva McReynolds Gardener of Pipestem; one son, Steven McReynolds and his wife Kristan of Morgantown, WV; five grandchildren, Trey, Aaron, Gracie, Addison and Averie; one brother, Elvis McReynolds and his wife Kathy of Berwind; one sister, LaDonna Smith and her husband Scooter of Princeton; one nephew, Chase Smith and two nieces, Tana Morgan and Tasha Patterson; Companion Tammy McCloud and her daughter, Aleisha and granddaughter, Aaliyah and special friends and cousins, Nancy Williams and Debbie Uhl.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Teddy will be conducted 6:00 P.M. Monday, April 28, 2014, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Ted Anders officiating. Graveside services and burial will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. His co-workers on the paving crew will serve as pallbearers. Those attending the service are asked to be at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton by 9:15 A.M. on Tuesday or at the cemetery by the service hour on Tuesday.
