Billy Ray Noble

PRINCETON — Billy Ray Noble, 74, of Green Acres Loop, Princeton, died on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.

He was born in Princeton on May 15, 1939 he was the son of the late Kenna D. Noble, Sr. and Clara Carter Noble.

He was shop foreman for Princeton Armature and retired from SEMCO in Narrows. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and attended Maranatha Baptist Church on the Oakvale Road in Princeton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant daughters, one grandson, Joseph Huffman, one brother, Kenna D. (Junior) Noble and one sister, Helen Abshire.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Radford Noble; Two daughters, Teresa Huffman  and Laura Lee Stanley and her husband John both of Princeton; One granddaughter, Sara Sandridge and her companion Jason Bailey; Three great-grandchildren, Liam Sandridge, Brady Bailey and Natalie Bailey; One sister, Charlotte Mills of Princeton; One brother, Daniel Noble of Princeton; A host of nieces, nephews and cousins along with  his four-legged friends, Brandy and Mattie.

Funeral services will be at held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Marvin Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with graveside rites by the WV National Guard Honor Guard.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
