JoAnn Lawless, 81, of South Wickham Avenue, Princeton, died Friday, June 21, 2013 at her residence.
Born April 1, 1932 in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. Crotty Sr. and Nawasa Priddy Crotty.
JoAnn was a graduate of Princeton High School and a long time member of Glenwood Primitive Baptist Church at Glenwood.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. In her spare time, JoAnn enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Harry L. Crotty Jr.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 58 years, Richard E. Lawless. Two children Susan Diane Simpkins and Richard Mark Lawless both of Largo, Florida. Two grandchildren Stephanie Nicole Lawless and Jeremy Crea Simpkins. Two sisters-in-law Pauline Mayhew and Bertha Palmer.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Elder Larry Hollinsworth and Elder Junior Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
