Michael Anthony Stilwell, age 44, of Coppinger Street, Bluefield, W.Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 4, 2013 following an ATV accident in Wyoming County, West Virginia doing what he loved.
Born on March 9, 1969 in Tazewell, Va., he was a son of Pete and Shirley Cox Stilwell of Horsepen, Va. He worked as a shop superintendent at Norris Screen Company. He was a member of the Ceres Baptist Church in Green Valley and he loved the outdoors and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Meef and Maggie Stilwell and Renick and Rosine Cox as well as a daughter, Amanda Brooke Stilwell.
Survivors in addition to his parents include: His wife, Sherry Lester Stilwell of the home; daughters: Michaela Brooke Stilwell and Katie Elizabeth Stilwell of the home; sister: Robin Brewster and husband Anthony of Tazewell, Va.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ceres Baptist Church in Green Valley with the Rev. James Mooney and the Rev. Wesley Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, Va. Serving as his pallbearers will be Junior Price, William Stevenson, Brian Stevenson, Scott Stevenson, Ernie Hollins, and Jimmy Cornett Jr. David Langille was named as an honorary pallbearer.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Ceres Baptist Church.
