Laura Vail

Bluefield Daily Telegraph

PRINCETON — Born January 2, 1953 in Winnetka, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Laurance Clifford Martin and Audrey Vail Fraker. She was a graduate of New Trier High School in Winnetka, Ill, and attended Olivete University of Illinois. She attended the New Life Tabernacle Church in Princeton and was a very Christian lady (now dancing with the angels in Heaven). Laura was a very joyful person to be around, loved kids of all ages, and took pride in helping kids with school work and tutoring. She also loved to sit and watch the leaves changing colors and enjoyed growing plants of all kinds. Laura was pleased by the small things in life, playing card games and dominos, and watching football and baseball on TV. She was a huge Chicago Bears fan.

She is survived by one brother, Laurance Clifford Martin, Ill.; two sisters, Tiley Martin Frost and Mary Martin Morey; a special friend she considered to be her son, Kevin Poff; children she looked after (her West Virginia family), Kirkland Perdue, William Lowe, Betty Sullivan, Carey Felty, Josh Callas, Eddie Callas, and many more.

A Time of Remembrance will be from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton. On line condolences may be sent by visiting www.seaverfuneralservice.com.
