LaPLACE, La. —
Born May 19, 1928, at Bluefield, he was the son of the late Hassell H. Harvey and Lydia Rock Harvey.
Norman was educated in Mercer County and had attended Business College. He was a retired butcher, having last worked for Grants Supermarket.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William “Bill” W. Harvey.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Charlotte Wills Harvey along with two sons; Norman Harvey Jr., “Rick” and Roger D. Harvey, one sister, Sylvia Sexton and his sister- in-law, Nancy Harvey of Princeton.
Graveside services will be held Friday following a visitation at the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Pastor Larry Roberts will officiate at the cemetery.
Those wishing to attend graveside services are requested to meet at the funeral home by 2:00 p.m.
