Leigh Dianne Hebb

MULLENS — Leigh Dianne Hebb, 53, of Mullens, W.Va., died in the line of duty on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, from injuries received in an auto accident near Raysal in McDowell County. Born in Kassell, Germany on Sept. 29, 1958 she was the daughter of the late Jeon Thomas and Mary Ola Jianniney Heaton. Leigh was dedicated to her family and career. She worked at the McDowell County Ambulance Authority and at the Mullens Fire Department. She was a devoted EMT and loved her chosen career.

Left to cherish her memories are her two children, Jessica Leigh Hebb and Calvin Wayne Hebb; two granddaughters, Tiffani Justiss Hebb and Mya Jordan-Clo Tooley; two sisters, Sabriye Ackelson and Angie Coger; two brothers, Roger Heaton of Princeton and Mark Heaton; best friend and partner in crime, Scott Owens; her adopted son, Chris Lech; and her faithful feline children, Spidey and Natalie Hebb.

In keeping with her wishes Leigh was cremated following a family visitation. A Memorial service to celebrate the life of Leigh will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Mike Williams officiating. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 12:00 noon to the service hour on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to honor the life of Leigh may be made to your local humane society or animal care agency.
