SANDLICK — Margie Faye Rura, 82, of Bland Street, Bluefield, formerly of Sandlick Road, Bluefield died late Tuesday evening, October 9, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital.  

Born April 17, 1930, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Nelson Brown Kahle and Rebecca Faye Hager Kahle.

Margie was educated in the Glenwood area and was of the Methodist faith. Prior to moving back to the area, for many years, Margie worked at Laura Crest Prep School in Bristol, Conn.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Rura; along with five siblings, Geneva Tolassi, Bernard, Harold, Woodrow and Earl Kahle.

Survivors include her two daughters, Jenny Snow, Sharon Blankenship and husband, Harold all of the Sandlick Road; three grandchildren, Shannon Folks, Heath Folks, and Kristie Clifton; seven great-grandchildren, Brittany, Grace, Lindsey, Katilyn, Braxton, Willou and Kaliene; one sister, Lois Majerski of Leesburg, Fla.

Private graveside services will be held Friday, October 12, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Pastor Larry White speaking.

The Rura family is being handled by the Memorial Funeral Directory & Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
