DENVER, N.C. —
Bonita Kay Bandy Davis, 63, of Denver, NC, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 at her residence.
Born June 16, 1950 in Middletown of War, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Claude Olbert Bandy and the late Lillian Gilbert Bandy.
In addition to her parents, four sisters, Pauline Trammell, Phyllis Pratt, Sue Matney, Josephine Quinn and two brothers, James Bandy and Buck Bandy preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory: Two daughters: Crystal and husband, Bryan Miller of Denver, NC, Michelle “Missy” Sorenson of Catawba, NC; one son: Jeff Davis and wife, Valerie of Statesville, NC; five grandchildren: Jacob and Tessa Miller, Kayla Wright, Randall “Smokey” Wright and wife, Tonya, Chris Sorenson; three sisters: Shirley Johnson of Laurens, SC, Louise Fuller of Laurens, SC, Betty Evans of Concord, VA.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Maiden, NC with the Rev. Raymond Spann officiating. Burial will follow at Olivet Baptist Church in Catawba, NC.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Maiden, NC.
