PRINCETON — James Douglas Miller, 48, of Bluefield Avenue, Princeton died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born March 21, 1965, at Petersburg, Va, he was the son of the late John Jay Miller and Virginia Ruth Melvin Miller.
James was a handyman, working with refinishing furniture and doing wood working.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Arthur Eugene Howard, Steve Howard, Johnny Miller, David Miller and Elizabeth Miller.
Survivors include his wife Darlene Miller; two children, Crystal Miller of Michigan, Cheyann Miller and her mother Susie Roberts of Princeton; step-son; Jordon Roberts; siblings Tony Miller and his companion Cindy Lambert of Oak Hill, Teddy Miller, Billy Ray Miller, Jeff Miller and wife Rachel, Frances Adams and husband Rad, Mae Bailey and husband Johnny, all of Princeton, Connie Dillard and husband Thomas of Bluefield. Special Aunts and Uncle. Special niece, Amanda Miller and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor James Bassett and Pastor Terry Lambert. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Friends may visit with the family Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Miller, Tony Miller, Billy Miller, Beau Miller Thomas Dillard and Justin Mitchell.
