RADFORD, Va. — Tonya Elizabeth Hart-Holland, 34, of Radford, VA, formerly of Bluefield, WV, and her infant daughter Kristen Leigh Ann Holland, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Va.  

Born December 21, 1978 in Bluefield, WV, she was the daughter of William Hart and Debora (Branscome) Hart of Bluefield, WV. Tonya was a Prevention Specialist for New River Valley Community Services. She was a member of Christiansburg Church of the Brethren. Tonya was a 1997 graduate of Montcalm High School, a graduate of Concord University with a Bachelor's degree in teacher education and completed her Master's in Health Promotion at Virginia Tech. She was the former Assistant Girl's Basketball Coach for Montcalm High School and the former Softball Coach for Montcalm Middle School.

Tonya was preceded in death by daughter, Kristen Leigh Ann Holland and paternal grandfather, William Hart.

Left to cherish her memory is husband, Doug Holland of Radford, VA; daughter, Paige Elizabeth Holland of the home; sister, Missy Hart Gattuso of Bluefield, WV; maternal grandmother, Dosie Branscome of Princeton, WV; maternal grandfather, Gleason Branscome of Amissville, VA; paternal grandmother May Hart of Princeton, WV; special cousin, Jamie Mullins Hughes of Phenix, AL; and a large family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

In her passing, Tonya was able to donate her organs which went to five different recipients which saved their lives.

Funeral services for Tonya will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton, WV with Pastor Don Peters officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to BB & T, 1201 East Main St., Radford, VA  24141 in care of Paige Elizabeth Holland.
