JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. —
Ola Yost Shutt, 91, of Johnson City, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in the Johnson City Medical Center following a short illness. She was born in Duhring, WV, the daughter of the late Harry and Della Yost. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Shutt; two brothers; and four sisters.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pocahontas, VA and a retired banker.
Ola is survived by her loving, son, Randy Shutt; a brother, Thurman Yost; special friend, Gary Piotrowski; and several nieces and nephews.
The committal service and interment will be conducted at 11:00 am, Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, in Maple Hill Cemetery, Bluefield, VA. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to First United Methodist Church, Center Street, Pocahontas, VA 24635.
