CANTON, Ohio — CANTON, Ohio — Freda “Gal” Waldron Sparks, 67, of Canton, Ohio, passed away September 30, 2013, in Canton, Ohio.

Freda was born in Raysal, W.Va., August 13, 1937 a daughter of the late, Dave and Rebecca “Beck” Puckett Waldron. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed sewing and cooking.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Blaine C. Waldron; two sisters, Loerine Waldron Woody, Theodosia “Piggy” Waldron; two infant brothers; and two infant sisters; one nephew, Billy Woody of Louisa, Va.

Those left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Rosa Marie Sparks Mudrick of Canton, Ohio; one son, Bill Sparks, III, of Canton, Ohio; two grandsons, Jason Mudrick and Matthew Mudrick of Canton; one granddaughter, Rema Sparks, also of Canton; three nieces, Sherry Shifflett of Louisa, Va., Janet Waldron Williams of Houston, Texas, Crystal Gail Waldron Payne of Raysal, W.Va.; three nephews, Jerry Lee Woody of Louisa, Va., Rusty Waldron of Louisa, Va., Gary Waldron of Louisa, Va.; one great niece, Christina Shifflett Whitely of Louisa, Va.; four great-nephews, Junior Woody of Louisa, Va., Wesley Woody of Louisa, Va., Danny Woody of Louisa, Va., and Keith Lee Payne of Raysal, W.Va.; and a host of family and friends.

In Following Freda’s wishes she will be cremated.
