Bobby Dean Widner, 54, of Beeson Road, Rock, died Saturday, November 3, 2012. Born June 6, 1958 in Roanoke, Va. he was the son of the late Earnest Widner and Geneva Spriggs Widner.
He did concrete work most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and wildlife. He attended Lashmeet Freewill Baptist Church and The Bridge Church in Princeton. He made his home with his dear friend Kim Akers and husband Harold and their children, Nathan and his wife Tina and their daughter Tionna, Dylan, Blake, Miracle, Jakob and Joey, and other times with his sister Charlotte Cook and husband James.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Kay Widner and one niece Judy Ann Cook Moore.
He is survived by two sisters, Jo Ann Jenkins of Land O' Lakes, Fla. and Charlotte Cook and husband James of Bicknal Flats, Rock, and one brother, Earnest Lee Widner and wife Sherry of Dade City, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
Honoring his request his body will be cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Lashmeet Freewill Baptist Church in Lashmeet.
