Patricia Denise Wallace of Charleston, W.Va. died January 29, 2013 in Charleston, W.Va. after a short illness.
She was born on August 11, 1963 in Bluefield, W.Va. to the parents of the late Harry and Lavorice (Parham) Wallace. Her parents and brothers: Michael, Paul and James preceded her in death.
She graduated from Bluefield High School and attended Bluefield State College where she played basketball.
While in Bluefield, she was employed at Cumberland Care Nursing Home. Upon moving to Charleston she was employed as a private duty sitter for various families.
She leaves to cherish her memories two children: Tawon of Charleston, W.Va. and Tristan of Columbus, Ohio; granddaughter, Ta'Rea; brothers: Thomas (Ida) Wallace of Bluefield, W.Va., William (Princess) Wallace of Durham, N.C., Jerome Wallace of Beckley, W.Va. and Charles "Johnny" Wallace of Summersville, W.Va.; sisters: Phyllis (John Vineyard) and Susie Wallace of Bluefield, W.Va.; stepbrothers: Rod Slaughter and Timmy Wallace of Bluefield, W.Va., Courtney (Pamela) Wallace, Charles Wallace of Charlotte, N.C., Tony (Pam) Wallace of Pittsburgh, Pa. and John Hopkins of Tazewell, Va.; stepsisters: Kim Wallace of Charlotte, N.C. and LaToya Wallace of Bluefield, W.Va.; sister-in-law, Lyndora Wallace of Tazewell, Va.; stepmother, Annetta Wallace of Bluefield, W.Va.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Service will be held February 6 at 12:00 noon at the House of Prayer in Bluefield with Bishop Sue Heartwell officiating.
