Jackie “Jack” Ray French
RUTLEDGE, Tenn. — Jackie “Jack” Ray French, 74, of Rutledge, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at Tennova Physicians Regional Medical Center.
He was retired from Renfro Construction and Cloud 9 Concrete Enterprise. He was of the Baptist faith and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by parents, Viva and William H. French; brothers, Warren Payne and William Ferrell.
He is survived by wife, Doris French, of Rutledge; daughters, Yvonne (Greg) White, of Moss, Tenn., and Deborah (Steve) Hixon, of Rutledge, Tenn.; sons, Timothy (Connie) French, of Knox County and Joseph (Connie) French, of Strawberry Plains; granddaughters, Caitlyn French and Haley Evans; grandsons, Chris and Nick Moore; sisters, Mildred (Junior) Crouse, of Falls Mills, Va., and Margaret (Clinton) Carroll, of Springville, Va.; sister-in-law, Peggy Ferrell, of North Carolina; brother-in-law, William “Bill” Blair, of Rutledge; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 8 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013 at Fielden Chapel with Rev. Stacey Lawson officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Oakland cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. prior to the service at Fielden Funeral Home, 910 Churchview St., New Market, Tenn.
