BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Mark Andrew Hodock, 51, went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2013.
Born June 12, 1961, in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of Gladys Hall Hodock and the late Andrew Hodock, Jr.
Mark was a member of Bailey United Methodist Church. He graduated from Graham High School and also received his degree in welding. He previously worked for John’s Mine Supply and helped his dad on the farm. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and he loved to drive “Bessie”, the 53 Jubilee tractor that belonged to him and his dad. He loved all the farm animals, especially the furry little kittens. Mark loved everybody. On Sundays during the summer, he would gather the little children around the porch and tell them a story about Jesus, then give them a soda pop and a piece of candy. Since childhood, Mark loved the Bible and would quote scriptures to anyone who would listen. He was a most humble soul and now he is experiencing his heart’s greatest desire, to touch the face of God. He was the Best! We will surely miss him.
He is survived by his mother, Gladys Hodock, one son, John Mark Hodock, one sister, Rhonda Hodock, former wife, Karen Hodock and very special friends, Charlie Stowers, Sonny Miller, Cooter Mitchem and Randy Akers.
Friends may visit with the family Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev.
