Leola Mae Bailey of Tabernacle Hill, Montcalm, W.Va., went to meet her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Princeton, W.Va.
She was born April 26, 1914 in Ashland, W.Va. to the late Louis Ferris and Bertha Gregory Ferris. She was of the Baptist faith. She had been a resident of Montcalm for the past 51 years and will be sorely missed by all of us who loved her dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Stone Bailey; two daughters, Shirley Ann Perkins and Gail Hubbard; three brothers, Granville, Clell and Walter.
Left to cherish her memory are: Daughter, June Bailey Dillow of Montcalm, West Virginia; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia with the Rev. C.T. Lilly officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Princeton, W.Va. where Blair Taylor, Matthew Dillow Sr., Matthew Dillow Jr., Keith Dillow Sr., Keith Dillow Jr. and Jonathan Dillow will serve as pallbearers.
Friends and family may call at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, W.Va. on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until 1:00 p.m.
