BLUEFIELD, Va. — Naomi Elizabeth Carter, 66, of Triangle Road, Bluefield, Va., died Wednesday February 13, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born April 17, 1946 in Bland County, Va., she was a daughter of the late Roy R. Wall and Virginia A. Spencer Wall. Mrs. Carter was the owner of Carter Sales, Inc. in North Tazewell, Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Carter and one great-grandson, Jaxsen Chipman.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Johnson and husband Darryl of Princeton, W.Va.; one stepdaughter, Anna Carter of Graham, N.C.; one sister, Charlotte Davis of Galax, Va.; five brothers, Roy Leon Wall of Galax, Donald D. Wall and wife Marlene of Sacramento, Calif., Ralph E. Wall Sr. and wife Lucy of Galax, Gerald R. Wall of Wytheville, Va., and Cecil D. Wall and wife Jane of Max Meadows, Va.; three grandchildren, Brad Johnson, Nicole Johnson and Daniel Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Hayleigh and Abigail Johnson.
Services will be conducted on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from the mausoleum chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with Cecil Wall officiating. The family will receive friends at the mausoleum on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
