SEBRING, Fla —
Madeline retired from Monroe Pharmacy in Union, WV, after working there nearly 30 years. She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school and the youth group, and sang in the choir. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and then made her home in Buttonwood Bay in Sebring, Florida, where she attended the Buttonwood Bay Church, organized and led a choir, and was involved in many of the activities there. She was a member of the Eastern Star both in Union and Sebring.
Madeline, fondly known as NaNa, was preceded in death by her parents, Czernie Gray and Lillian Fayetta Tomlinson (Papaw and Mamaw); her siblings, Robbie G. Light, Grace M. Peterson, Roy G. Tomlinson, Joe H. Tomlinson, Marshal Tomlinson and Bernice Tomlinson; and one grandson, Arley Christopher (Chris) Miller.
NaNa is survived by her husband Charles Kidd (PaPa) of Sebring, FL; two children, Beverly J. Reed and her husband Lawrence of Princeton, and Arley (Sonny) Miller and his wife Elizabeth (Liz) of Roanoke, VA; one step son, David Kidd of Hiram, OH; four grandchildren, Kimberly Alexander and her husband Vincent, Jenifer O'Neal and her husband Bert, William (Bill) Reed and his wife Carla, and Latonya Miller; five great- grandchildren, Kayla Alexander and her husband Jeff Griffin, Karlie Alexander, Josh O'Neal, Nick O'Neal, and Cara O'Neal; one step grandson, Jamie Wellman; two great- great-grandchildren, Bradley Alexander and Harper Griffin; and her loving caregivers at The Palms of Sebring, FL.
Loved by all, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is now with her Lord Jesus whom she served throughout her life.
