CEDAR BLUFF, Va. —
Mr. Ivan H. Osborne, 94, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, died Friday, December 27, 2013 at Heritage Hall Assisted Living Facility in Grundy, Virginia.
Born September 7, 1919 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Henry and Josie Osborne.
Mr. Osborne served as a mine safety inspector for Jewell Smokeless Coal Corporation. He also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Surviving are: His wife: Cornelia B. Osborne. One daughter: Patricia Ann Lundy and husband Sidney of Panama City, Florida. One son: Ivan H. Osborne, Jr. and wife Betty of Garden Creek, Virginia. Five grandchildren.
Graveside services for Ivan Osborne will be held Tuesday, December 31, at Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Ward officiating. Friends and relatives will serve as pallbearers.
