TAZEWELL, Va. —
Edith McGlothlin, age 89, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Heritage Hall in Tazewell, Va. with the help of Hospice. Edith enjoyed playing bingo with her dear friend Margaret at the Heritage Hall. She loved all of the friendly staff.
She was born on June 25, 1924, in Tazewell, Va. to the late Poley McGlothlin and Lilly Deskins McGlothlin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Joe Hall and four sisters: Pearl Hearld, Irene Hoops, Dale Doughton and Boots Davis and seven brothers: Lum McGlothlin, Conley McGlothlin, Jack McGlothlin, Dan McGlothlin, Ed McGlothlin, Cecil McGlothlin and Fred McGlothlin.
Survivors include two grandchildren: Kelly Hall and Steven Hall of Richmond, Va.; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Edith will be missed dearly by all of her loved ones.
Graveside rites for Edith will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton, W.Va. with the Reverend David Kirby officiating.
