Thomas Clyde Strow

“If I had two loaves of bread, I would sell one and buy hyacinths, for they would feed my soul.”

PRINCETON — “If I had two loaves of bread, I would sell one and buy hyacinths, for they would feed my soul.”

Tom was a Human Anatomy, Physiology, and Science teacher at Princeton Senior High School. He formerly served on the WV Board of Occupational Therapy. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of Heavenly Rest in Princeton. Tom was an avid and knowledgeable antique collector. He was well-loved and touched many lives throughout his teaching career.

The quotes Tom recited will be forever imprinted in the minds and hearts of his family, many friends, and students: “The world is a book, and those who do not travel, read only one page.” “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the places and moments that take our breath away.”
