KEEN MOUNTAIN, Va. —
Born February 17, 1933 in Dante, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Boone Hay and Alta Vanover Hay. She was a member of Keen Mountain Methodist Church and a member of Tazewell County Country Club Ladies Golf Association.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond (Ray) West.
She is survived by her sons, Russell (Rusty) and wife Janie Crigger West of Keen Mountain, VA and David and wife Rebecca Barnett West of Tazewell; her daughter, Robin and husband Will Kelly of Johnson City, TN; two granddaughters, Amy and husband Phillip Humphreys of Abingdon, VA; and BreAnna and husband Cole Lusk of Kingsport, TN; great-granddaughters, Ella and Elizabeth Humphreys of Abingdon, VA; one brother, Jerry B. Hay of Elizabethton, TN; one sister, Barbara and husband Randy Williams of Morristown, TN; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Peggy Ratliff and Alvin and Nancy Ritchie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Virginia with Rev. Ray Amos and Rev. Tom Witten officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Russell West, David West, Will Kelly, Phillip Humphreys, Cole Lusk, and Alvin Ritchie.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. Wednesday at Singleton Funeral Service at Cedar Bluff, Virginia.
