Margie Louise Harrison Wimmer

PRINCETON — Margie Louise Harrison Wimmer, 87, of Cassell's Board and Care in Princeton, a former resident of Village Green, died Friday, April 19, 2013, at her residence. Born August 12, 1925 in Dott, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Luther Benjamin Harrison and Gladys W. Harrison Burgess and Cecil Burgess.

She was a homemaker and attended the Princeton Church of God. Anyone that knew Margie would say she was the most meticulous person for cleanliness they had ever met. She loved the Lord and one of her ways of expressing that love was through “cleanliness being next to Godliness”. This extended from her home, yard, cars, and her fashion for clothing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Woodrow Wimmer; one daughter, Janice “Jan” Grim; one son, Robert George Wimmer; three brothers, Clarence Harrison, Luther B. Harrison Jr., and Paul Harrison; and one sister, Catherine Leach.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Morrello and husband John of Princeton and Dana Pedigo and husband Jerry of Bluefield; one son, Leslie Wimmer and wife Sherry of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Estelle Kirk of Lantham, Md.; and one son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Grim of Princeton. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Angela Pendleton and husband Steve, Vincent Morrello and wife Michelle, Toney Morrello and wife Robin, Dr. Joseph Morrello, Rob Grim and wife Gina, Mike Grim and wife Amanda, Samantha Wimmer, Ashley Evans and husband Marc, Jimmy Hercey, David Hercey and wife Sarah, Chris Pedigo and wife Hillary, and Charles Pedigo and wife Heather; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton with the Rev. David Hercey (grandson) officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday. Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Princeton Church of God, 250 Oakvale Rd., Princeton, WV 24740.
