Daniel Ray Stover, 58, of 1300 Lowe Street, Bluefield, W.Va., died on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at his home.
Born March 21, 1955 in Oak Hill, W.Va., he was a son of Sharley Maye Stover and the late Kenneth V. Stover. Mr. Stover worked as a Shipping Clerk at Flowers Bakery. He loved to garden, enjoyed woodworking and sports, and was an avid WVU fan.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Mary Prater Stover of the home; two sons, Jeremy Allen Stover of Bluefield, W.Va. and Joshua Seth Stover of Beckley, W.Va.; two brothers, Kenneth V. Stover Jr. and wife Terry of Cool Ridge, W.Va., and Tim Stover and wife Tina of Lewisburg, W.Va.; two nieces, Caitlin Stover of Lewisburg and Dawn Marie Grant of Charlotte, N.C.; and one nephew, Jacob Stover who is stationed in New York.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Craig Hammond officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
