PRINCETON — Vestle Eugene “Bobby” Jones, 71, of 151 Brownie Place in Princeton, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at his residence. Born March 16, 1942 in Carswell, WV, he was the son of the late Samuel E. Jones and Kathleen Marushia Jones. He was a graduate of Northfork-Elkhorn High School and was of the Protestant faith.

Bobby was a retired truck driver with International Plating and Machinery in Princeton. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Jones and Betty Tucciarone; and one brother-in-law, John Arvai.

Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Elizabeth “Betty” Arvai Jones of Princeton; one daughter, Susan Gayle Jones of Princeton; one granddaughter, Brandi Jones-Stables and husband Brandon of Princeton; two sisters, Marie Tringale and Judy Jones both of San Rafael, CA; two brothers, Edd Jones and wife Bobbi of Lincolnton, NC and Clyde Jones of San Rafael, CA; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Arvai of Green Valley and Julia Arvai of East Lake, OH;  faithful canine companions, Rowdy, Cuddles, Lady, and Buster; and canine grand-dog, Mollie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 23, 2013 at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with the Reverend Rick Chester officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Park Cemetery in Bluewell with the West Virginia National Guard Honor Guard conducting military graveside rites.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, September 22, 2013.
