BLUEWELL — Phyllis Ann Smith, 75, of Bluewell, W.Va. and formerly of Tazewell, Va., died Wednesday September 18, 2013 at her home.
Born September 16, 1938 in Charleston, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late, Walter Henry “Jack” Williams and Mary Sylvia Richardson Repass. Mrs. Smith was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation. She was of the Holiness faith and loved her Lord. She treasured her family and also loved animals.
Survivors include one son, Charles Paul Smith and wife, Brittany of Bluefield, W.Va.; two daughters, Suzanna Repass and husband, Doug of Bluefield, Va. and Rosemary Vanhoozer and husband, Tom of Tazewell, Va.; and five grandsons, Jason Smith, Adam Repass, Sean Repass, Thomas Vanhoozer and Andrew Vanhoozer.
A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
