Clarence Dwight Lambert, age 57, of Bramwell, W.Va., passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Bluefield Regional Medical after a short illness. Born November 25, 1955 in Welch, W.Va., he was the son of the late Clyde "Bud" Lambert Jr. and Agnes Buckland Lambert.
He was affiliated with the Baptist faith. He graduated Bluefield State College as a Register Nurse. He was a former employee of Bluefield Regional Medical Center, and was last employed by Sears in the Mercer Mall. He was a loving father. He was a resident of McDowell County most of his life, and had resided in Bramwell/ Freeman area for the past several years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Lambert and Terry Lambert; also his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memory: His daughter, Shawna Piercy and husband Jeff of Greensboro, N.C.; his sisters, Sharon Baldwin and husband Don, Teresa McPeak and husband Carl; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 12:00 noon, at the Widener Funeral Home Chapel, Northfork, W.Va. with the Rev. Joe Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton, W.Va.
Friends may call Tuesday night at the Widener Funeral Home, Northfork, from 6 to 8:00 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Lambert, David Lambert, Daniel Lambert, Steven Lambert, Rusty Lambert, Eric Lambert, and Mark McClelland.
