BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Judith Nell Artrip Edgell, 73, of Bluefield, VA, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 6, 2014. She was born in Columbus, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Garnett and Kathleen Sykes Artrip. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bob C. Artrip.
Judith had a big heart and loved to laugh. She loved fishing and enjoyed eating the fish she caught. She loved bowling also. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Edgell of the home, her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Artrip and her nephews, Michael (Mickey) Artrip and Timothy (Tim) Artrip and wife Lynnette of Falls Mills, VA, her great niece, Nicole Artrip Franklin and husband Darren and daughter Abby, Christa Artrip Vires and husband Anthony, great nephew, Jason Artrip and wife Lynsey and daughter Kaitlyn, great niece, Diane Rice and husband Cody.
A service to celebrate Judith’s life will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Lacy Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Monday from 12:00 noon until hour of service.
