Bluefield Daily Telegraph

BOISSEVAIN, Va. — Paul David Poseno, 63, of Boissevain, VA., has left his loving family to be in God's care. He is breathing freely, dancing, praying, and singing in the presence of the Lord. He was born August 1, 1950 in Boissevain, VA and passed to be with the Lord on Friday, January 31, 2014 in Princeton, WV.

He dedicated 23 years of his life as a coal miner for the U.S. Steel and worked tirelessly for his family. He was a selfless and loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle who was loved very much. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle, and giving soul who was full of life and loved people.

As he joins heaven again, he meets his father, Kenneth Thomas Poseno, and his mother, Virginia Elizabeth Lucas Poseno. Also, preceding him in death are his brother, Billy Thomas Poseno and beloved sister, Shirley Jean Cook.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty G. Woodard Poseno of Boissevain, VA., their children, Misty LaPointe and husband Brian of Surf City, NC, and Chad David Poseno of the home in Boissevain, VA. His grandchildren, Tyler-Reece, Grace, and Grady will miss him a lifetime. He also has one surviving sister, Margie Cook of Boissevain, VA. He has some special nieces and nephews, Doreen Sherry McGuire "George", Donald Lee Cook, Kenneth Ray Cook, Sandy Caywood, Angie Mosrie, Amy Elizabeth Kiser as well as several great nieces and nephews, and one very special gal, Cassandra Wright of Bluefield, WV. Paul David also had many loved nieces and nephews from his wife's side of the family (Woodard). Also, he is being missed by his little, white dog which he nicknamed "Baby girls". Bella is his beloved pet and stayed by his side always. He is, however, able to joyfully join his "hairy dog", which is a pet he lost a few years ago name Harrison. He loved these two pets as much as the rest of the family.
