COALWOOD — Andy was born March 25, 1958 in Coalwood. He was the youngest son of the late Wilbur Clack Sr. and Amanda E. (Senior) Clack. At an early age, he became a member of Mt. Airy Missionary Baptist Church in Coalwood . He was a graduate of Big Creek High School Class of 1976. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served for eight years, and an active member of the National Guard for seven years. After his military career, he began working in Healthcare. He was formerly employed at McDowell Nursing & Rehabilitation in Gary, WV, and both the Council and Commission on Aging in Welch, WV also Westwood Health Center in Bluefield, VA. His last place of employment was Stevens Correctional in Welch, where he was an Officer, before becoming disabled.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents, his maternal and paternal grandparents and two of his brothers, Alonzo and Wilbur Jr., and one niece, Sonya.

Andy will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Evangelist Charles “Buck” and wife, Nancy Senior of Kingsport, Tennessee and Paul R. Clack of Coalwood; his sisters: Carolyn J. and husband, Nelson Ross of Kingsport, Wilma P. and husband, Buford Brown Sr. of Havaco, WV; Lura A. and husband, James Jamison of Coalwood and Alice M. and husband, Desi Scales of Fayetteville, NC; five nephews: Michael, Brandon, Kevin, Buford Jr. and fiancée,’ Cherie and Maurice and wife, Jessica; four nieces: Geneva, Kimberly, Jacinda and Shania; one great-nephew, Matt and a great-niece, Kyra; a host of cousins and friends also a good buddy, Ronald Tickle of Coalwood.

Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Mt. Airy Missionary Baptist Church in Coalwood with the Reverend James Crosier officiating. Interment will follow at Rest lawn Memorial Gardens on Rt. 20, in Bluewell, WV. Burial rites will be conducted by VFW Post 1144 of Iaeger, WV.

Family and friends will serve as both pall bearers and flower bearers.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., until time of Service on Thursday at the Church.
