Buddy E. Graham Sr., 66, of Matoaka, died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born April 27, 1946 at Beartown, he was the son of the late Drewey E. Graham and Ivory Roberts Graham.
He was employed as a coal miner with Consol for 20 years and as a truck driver for Blue Flash Oil Company for 10 years. He was a member of the UMWA. He dearly loved his grandchildren and enjoyed the animals on his farm.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Janice Graham, a resident of Bland Nursing and Rehabilitation in Bastian, Va.; one son, Buddy E. Graham Jr. and his wife Von of Matoaka; two daughters, Katrina Howerton and husband Boo Boo of Matoaka and Jennifer Cline and Tommy Harvey of Lashmeet; one sister, Shirley Bailey and husband Charles of Matoaka; one brother, Mason Graham and wife Jane of Beartown; four grandchildren, Danny Cline Jr., Eddie Cline, B.J. Howerton and Allison Howerton and one great-grandchild, Nevaeh Howerton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Larry Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Shrader Cemetery at Matoaka. Serving as pallbearers will be Boo Boo Howerton, Danny Cline Sr., B.J. Howerton, Danny Cline Jr., Eddie Cline, Jeff Graham, Marty Graham and Marvin Graham.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 noon until the service hour on Monday, December 10 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton.
